Tim Duncan

In our view, Tim Duncan is one of the top three plsyers that we have ever seen play in the NBA. You have Jordan, Magic, and then Duncan. Dominique comes in at 5 for those of you who were wondering. Larry Bird takes the number 4 slot. Tim Duncan now has 4 titles, 3 Finals MVP awards, and 2 regular season MVP awards. He simply is the best player on the best team in the NBA. There are lots of people that want to bemoan the plight of the Phoenix Suns. In our opinion, the Suns are alot like Roy Jones, Jr. There is always an excuse. Last year, they were worn out. This year, it was the one game suspension of Stoudamire and Diaw. Nobody bothers to mention that the series between the Suns and the Spurs could have been seriously altered by a commanding performance in game 5 by the Suns. They simply folded their tent and went home. Is that the trait of a champion? We think not. The Spurs are without a doubt the most dominant team in the post Jordan era, and that includes the 3-peat Lakers team. Is there any way that that Lakers squad beats the Spurs of today? We think not. Hate them all you want; the Spurs are the business.
